I was looking for a cover that can fit my very large Moen spout. Everything else just didn't seem to work... I returned multiple products back to stores. Until I came across this. It's soft, so I can easily stretch it over the faucet. It's washable so I don't need to fret over keeping it clean - just throw into the machine. It has a diverter hole at the top - something that very few of these devises have. And most importantly, it's still fun and soft for the babies to touch. Excellent product.
Note on fit, re: previous review: Yes it secures with velcro, which I imagine an older child can easily detach. It fits much better, however, if you squeeze your spout under the stretch bands (not over it). This way, even if the child does pull on the velcro, the caterpillar will still stay in place.

I chose the EC caterpillar because I thought it would be fun to match with the book I already read to her before bed. It's very easy to attach. It fits perfectly on the designer faucet I've got. The body is lightly padded while the head has even more soft padding. The overall material is easy to wash and quick drying. Good buy.

Overall pretty pleased with this spout cover. My daughter loves Eric Carle and this is a big hit.
It is made of a washable type cushiony fabric. I was a little worried that it might get moldy, but so far it dries fast and this has not been a problem. It had a perfect sized opening for the water spout and a place on top for the plunger that turns our spout into a shower (Sorry, not sure the technical term for that part!) One downside: It fastens with velcro on the top of the caterpillar and this tends to come off easily. It doesn't fall off or anything, but it is very easy to detach while you are fiddling with the faucet. Other than that, makes a very cute bath faucet cover.
