Not user friendly, makes a mess. I would not recommend this product for any age.

I don't really like the playfoam. We got the kind with sparkles in it and we always have sparkles all over us for a few days after playing. I even found some in the baby's hair! It feels kind of sticky and smells kind of yuck too. I always think about the strange chemicals that are probably in this stuff. I keep trying to find a time to throw it away un-noticed...stick to play-doh (in my opinion)

This product has little foam pallets that stick together with some sort of glue it seems, when playing with it, you can see that glue streching to make it feel squishy and moldable. I wouldn't recommend the glitter version though, since it's not part of the foam as in actual glitter, it's more like sparkles or silvery dots mixed in the "batter", so you end up with sparkles all over you hands and it doesn't make the foam look glittery at all. All in all it's fun to play with, same kind of fun you get from playing with play dough, though the texture is refreshing and a nice change from play dough.

The tiny, sticky, beads do get caught in the carpet. It was fine when used on glass top table over hardwood floor.
