It's ok.. November 19, 2009 Cass I guess I bought it because of the novelty of the star registry...Which is a great idea! I love that! However the plush toy is not that great quality it looks much better in the pic. But it's not that bad although I'm sure Russ could of made them better. But for the price I guess you can't ask for much. Overall ok.
Great classroom frog. October 3, 2009 Kathleen K. Gilmartin Bought this frog as a "take home" animal for my first grade class. They love it and the frog is very durable and it's washable.
Just froggy August 18, 2008 D (Illinois United States) It's a cute frog, and well loved. The novelty wore off of the interactive features rather quickly, but it was a cute gift idea anyway.
Just Look Him!! :) July 23, 2008 4Kids4Us 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
He's smiling right at you!! My son has this frog. Oh, is it CUTE!!! He just LOVES it!!! My 4 kids have several of the Shining Star animals. (Blue dragon, frog, tiger, cow, monkey, beagle, owl) I find them to be exceptionally well-made and very, very cute. It's a nice idea naming the star, and all, I guess. We have dial-up internet, so it was kind of a nightmarish waiting game doing all that. We don't do anything else with the website. I doubt if our internet provider could take it. The kids just like the animals. In my opinion, the Shining Stars are much better made and much cuter stuffed animals than the Webkinz. The Shining Stars are more plush/soft and usually bigger. We have several webkinz in our home, and I'm not impressed. (We don't do anything online with either.)
Nice Idea - Nice Quality December 9, 2007 The Rothwells (Irwin, PA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I think the idea behind "NAMING A STAR" is a very interesting concept to gift recipients. Contrary to some of the other "Shining Stars" animals in which I was disappointed in the actual product quality, the FROG seems to be well-constructed.
