Product Description GENERAL FEATURES: The Nightspyer by Wild Planet is just what every pretend spy needs in his gear collection. See in the Dark up to 25 Feet ! The Micro Nightspyer lets you illuminate the night on your secret spy mission. Press a small button and a red tinted focused light beam allows you to see your target in the dark. The 2x power telescopic lens permits visibility up to 25 feet. Batteries included. Wild Planet product number 70056. Recommended for ages six and up.
Editorial Review The Nightspyer is a tiny 2.5 inches micro night scope to catch spies and other evil doers like brothers or sisters lurking in the dark. Press a small button and a red tinted focused light beam allows you to see your target in the dark. The 2X power telescopic lens permits visibility up to 25 feet. While viewing is surprisingly good, because the scope size is so small in diameter even with the magnification, you are somewhat limited as to what you can see. --N. Mered

dollar store crap December 14, 2009 Miss Phitt (North East, USA) This toy is junk. It is just a red flashlight and it is so small it really isn't even worth the few dollars it cost. This is something you would find in a store for a dollar so I am not impressed at all. Thought I was buying a cool Christmas present and it is really a stocking stuffer that will be broken in a day or lost in a few hours because it is so small. For a few dollars more you could definitely find better so look around before you buy it.
Goodie bag gift for Spy or Secret Agent theme birthday party June 27, 2009 Mary Hogle (Fremont, CA USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
For my son's 10th birthday party, he had a "spy/secret agent" themed party. I purchased the Wild Planet Night Gear as one of the goodie bag gifts. The boys were beyond thrilled when they saw it! Great price, pretty durable, great toy overall. Amazons order processing and shipping time is amazing as well!
Wonderful December 30, 2008 J. MoDavis (Pennsylvania) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I originally bought this for my 9 year old nephew. When it came in the mail it looked so small that I figured it was just a "cheesy" toy. I ended up giving it to my 3 year old son and he loves it as well as my 8 year old daughter. You can actually see in the dark, and they play with it constantly. A lesson learned, don't judge a book by it's cover. lol.
Nightspyer December 22, 2008 Bethany Blasko 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I boight this for my 11 year old brother. I did not realize when i bought it that the reason it makes you see at night is a red light. I was somewhat disappointed in this because it is meant for younger children and in the description it sounded more high tech.
it's NOT a Laser! its just a little red flashlight December 11, 2007 Baratacus (San Diego, CA USA) 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
Laser envy.... This product is a LED flashlight like you get on a keychain. you get a little scope to look through that doesn't magnify anything. If you want a piece of flashy plastic that your kid will enjoy running around roleplaying with then by all means get it. If you're looking for an inexpensive night vision scope... you should keep looking. for an even more cost effective alternative to this, help your child attach a keychain light to a paper towel tube.
