Product Description 15' x 36", Easy Set Pool Set, Includes Filter Pump & DVD, Easy To Assemble & Big Enough To Share With Friends & Family.
Editorial Review The Easy Set Pool is perfect for families that don't want to dig up their back yards to install an expensive cement pond just for that one month of the year when they need to cool off. The installation of the 15-foot-by-36-inch pool is simple and efficient. It requires no tools and only takes about 10 to 15 minutes for your family to be able to slip into the water. First, lay the 16-square-foot ground cloth in the desired location, then center the pool frame on it. Install the polyester-mesh lining, hook up the motorized 120-volt pump, attach the water filters, and screw on the water hoses. You may christen your new pool if you like, as 2,654 gallons of water shoot into it at 600 gallons per hour! When the pool is filled to capacity (up to about 80 percent, accounting for water displacement), cut off the water and jump in! All supplies--pool, liner, filter, pump, and ground cloth--are included with the set. The pool's sidewalls are made of laminated 28-gauge vinyl (very puncture resistant) supported by two additional materials for superior durability. The bottom is made of sturdy 16-gauge vinyl. The pool's extra amenities include UV inhibitors to protect the pool from the sun, and an inflatable top ring that can be used as a cushioned grip or headrest. For water changing, or taking down after the summer, there's a large drain plug at the bottom that allows easy disposal of water. --Diane Beall

Perfect pool for small yards August 2, 2009 Ann Sewall (Maybrook,NY) We have had an intex pool for about 4 years now. I started with a 10 x 30, upgraded to a 12 x 36, and this year we went for a 15 x 36 (the biggest my yard will hold). The first thing is to check with your village or town to see if you need a building permit. We did, it was only $50, and carries over from year to year. The most important thing is to have a perfectly level spot. This is the hardest for me, since my yard slopes downhill, but I invest a full day and about 600 lbs of sand and peat moss to get it right. Once it is level, the rest is cake. It really is as easy as the box says. My kids love it, not only the 10 year old, but the older teenagers have a blast in it. I highly recommend it as long as you are willing to do the maintenance.
Dont order this pool! July 13, 2009 D. Laird (Cleveland, Ohio) We set this up, and it leaked all around the seam! We tried refilling the intertube part, it leaked again all around the seam! We're out our money because we bought it on clearance last year. DONT BOTHER!

15' x 36" Easy Set Pool June 16, 2009 KsD We purchased this for our daughters birthday. We haven't had it long enough to rate it's durability(3 or 4 weeks). Set up was really easy and even though our lawn isn't perfectly level it works just fine. There's about 1" to 1 1/2" more water on one side then the other, but unless you're looking for that it's not that noticeable and she's having fun in it. So far, we're very happy with the purchase.
Lots of fun; Lots of trouble. June 13, 2009 Itsmeagain! (Nobamaburg) The pool will serve you well for one season, when you try to set it up the next year it will have leaks to patch. During the second year, hailstones shredded the top vinyl 'donut' ring, making the pool useless. That thin vinyl ring is the pool's biggest weakness. The pump is well made and really the best quality of all the components. The pump hoses are extra thin and cheaply made. After about one month the hoses started splitting at the corregations, making the pump useless and allowing much of the water to leak out. After some looking I did find replacement hoses, but it seems like a set of hoses should last at least one season. The pool requires the same maintainance as a full size pool, cleaning, treating the water, etc. The pump filters need to be changed out every few days or a week, and they are a bit expensive. After a couple cleanings I bought a pool cover to keep the leaves and dirt out. That's when the real problems started. The cover floated for one day, then it would always sink below the water level. The cover actually had small round holes purposely cut into it by the manufacturer! The only way to get the cover out was to lift it by one side since it contained a few hundred gallons of water. That allowed all the leaves and crud to dump out of the cover into the pool. I could not find a cover with air pockets molded in so it would float, that would have fixed the problem. I even put floating toys under the cover to try to keep it afloat, but that didn't work, in the morning all the toys were at the edge of the pool and the cover was submerged. The pool was fun when all was well, but not worth the trouble overall. Also, you will want to place this pool on a ground cloth, not included.
