Product Description 8' x 30", Easy Set Pool Set With Filter Pump & DVD Is Ready For Fun In 10 Minutes, Just Inflate The Top Ring & Fill With Water.
Amazon.com Product Description Get ready for a pool party at a minute's notice with this Wet Set Easy Set Pool, which measures 8 feet in diameter by 30 inches tall. It takes two people approximately 10 minutes to set up and get ready to pump full of water. The pool's liner is supported by an inflatable top ring while the pool goes up by itself as the water level rises. The sidewalls are made of three separate layers of material for extra strength and durability. Two outer layers of heavy gauge PVC are laminated to an inner layer of polyester mesh for extra reinforcement--for a total thickness of 28 gauge (0.71 millimeters). It includes a convenient, easy-to-use drain plug that connects to a garden hose so that water can be drained away from the pool area. It also comes with a 300 gallon-per-hour filter pump, which features a built-in debris surface skimmer and adjustable mounting bracket.

Very thin bottom so be careful! July 26, 2010 H. T. Pham (san jose, ca) I was so excited to receive this pool so when we unpacked and laid it down on the cement floor to fill in water, we noticed there were leakage. Well, turned out, the bottom had a little whole (maybe from a tiny pebble on the ground), so we patched it with the patching kit provided and that seems to work but then found out that the top ring air was leaking as well. I had to return it....my son were a bit bummed out. The side material were nice and thick but the bottom is very thin. Have to be extremely careful where you lay this pool....without the bottom protector mat, it will rupture easily.
Worth every penny! July 25, 2010 Dakota69 I purchased this pool several years ago b/c I do have a small yard and this is the perfect size (8' x 30"). The pool is very easy to set up (all you need is a screwdriver to tighten the brackets around the hoses). If you have no place to store the pool once the summer is over, just throw it away and buy another one next year. I look at it this way, I can't go away anywhere for this kind of money, and I'm right in my own yard. I do always have a brand new/extra pool in the box just in case the one I'm using breaks and we are not able to repair it (all pools do come wih a patch kit but how many times can you patch?). I've been using this pool for the past 3 to 4 years, after this season I'll trash it and I'm ready for next year with a brand new one. It's worth every penny! Dakoat 69, Brooklyn, NY
Beware, consumers July 24, 2010 Guillermo Torres (Heart of Aztlan) I have bought two pools from Intex. As products go, they are ok. merely OK. But what you should be aware of is if you need replacements parts, you are on your own. The filter pump went out after 4 months use. So I thought it would be easy to get a replacement part. Easy. Right? No. Most retailers will not carry these parts. You are at the mercy of Atex's very high prices if you order from them. Amazon lists them, if at all, at very high prices. Please beware of the shortage of replacement parts, because like I said, you will be on your own.
Only lasted 3 weeks July 19, 2010 Ann (New Lenox, IL) This pool was great for three weeks. The inflatable ring started losing air and I found one puncture and fixed, but there must have been another hole because it would lose air within an hour. Can't find the other hole. I bought a 10'x 36" pool for $60. I'm so glad I didn't buy a bigger one for $200. No more inflatables for me.
HARD SURFACE INSTALL ADVICE July 16, 2010 G.Milliken 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm on my second Intex 8 foot by 30 inch pool ... the first one was destroyed by a thirsty bear. For the price, these things are great, pool two is on it's 4th Summer (or is it 5th), a few holes to patch this time around but has held up well under the use it gets. If you plan on setting this up on a hard surface, concrete patio, deck, etc... I advise using rigid polystyrene insulation panels (e.g.- R-Tech at Lowe's) 1/2" to 1" thick. For an 8 foot pool, tape two sheets of insulation together, set and fill the pool, trim around the pool to remove the corners. Next season, there will be an indentation where the seam for the bottom meets the sides, line up the seam and the indentation to center the pool. I have found this set up to be better than sand, which I used the first year before I built a decked platform for the pool. This gives the bottom a nice soft feeling.
