I spent a lot of time researching wood play sets. I chose this one based on other user reviews that seemed to indicate that this was a quality, sturdy set that was good value for the money and fairly straightforward to put together. I was not disappointed. I got exactly what I hoped for and then some.
The set came in two boxes with the slide in a separate plastic bag. I was able to put the entire thing together within 4 to 5 hours working alone. It's pretty intuitive. The directions aren't terribly detailed, but they really don't need to be.
Wood is good quality and construction is sturdy. This is great value for the money. We're very happy with our purchase. And our 3 year-old daughter loves it.

I am very happy with my purchase of the Deluxe model. I ordered it on a Thursday and received it on Tuesday! Started putting it together Tuesday night after my husband got home from work and finished it Thursday night, so approx 2 hrs a night for a total of 6 hours, maybe a little less. However, while we were working, we still had to watch over our three kids - 9,7 and 5, which was distracting. You definately NEED a power drill with the right socket and bit attachments. We're not overly handy at all and got it done. It's beautiful and sturdy and is constructed to handle older kids too, even adults!!!

I did a lot of research before settling on this swing set. I have a 4 yr old and a very tall 6 yr old so I needed a sturdy set that could serve us for a number of years to come. I learned that a wooden swing set is the way to go for older kids and longevity. Also, Kid Gymz is the way to go for superior quality.
Set up and installation was a breeze. We were totally unorganized and this took 3 hours max. Both my husband and I have used this set at the same time without hearing wood crack or bend. This is one tough set that will stand the test of time.
