5 out of 5 stars Water slide mayhem   January 7, 2010
Kirk S. Nelson (Springfield, MO)
My eleven year old son and I shopped Amazon for a waterslide last summer and were a bit confused on which one to purchase. So we decided to read the reviews that people had made. We were fortunate to have done this. The waterslide my son picked out that looked the coolest in the pictures turned out to be a dangerous one. As several reviews of the same product were consistent. I am praising AMAZON for this method of rating products and I hope this review we are writing helps someone make a good choice. Having said that, the Banzai Wipeout Curve Water Park is an AWESOME slide. This slide is steep with a 180 degree banked curve that gives the kids a ride. Add a little soap and look out. Use kids shampoo that is easy on the eyes. The pool at the end of the curve fills up quickly adding a cushion after the bank curve. The slide has been well used and abused all summer long with no problems. A small learning curve to storing the slide after a long day. Difficult to move when wet (heavy and bulky). I quickly learned to turn the water off, turn off the blower and the pool will empty quickly. After that turn the blower back on and the slide will self dry quickly in the sun. Then it is a breeze to fold and store. It is also easy to move around when it is blown up.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SLIDE, IT IS LARGE ENOUGH FOR ADULTS :-))))

5 out of 5 stars Great slide   October 19, 2009

My kids (3 1/2 and 10 years old) all love this slide. It's nice that the slide lets out into a pool of water and then you can get back up to the top without stepping onto the grass. The slide doesn't get as grassy as it could otherwise.

5 out of 5 stars KIDS love this thing, so do adults!!   October 5, 2009

I was so excited to get this for my kids (4 and 2) after seeing some videos on it. let me tell you, no disappointment at all.
i had this up every weekend this summer, all day each weekend, and my 2 kids, and our friends kids were on this thing.
I'm a solid 190 lbs, and it supported me going down this tihng as well. I wouldn't go as far to do it all the time, or to stand at the top of the slide, but my wife (120 lbs), all day with my 2 year old.
i did make the mistake of bringing this to my cousins block party, seriously there were 30 kids on line for this thing the entire day. poor folks who rented a big blow up slide, and bouncer, it sat there unused all day.
I say it was a mistake, not because it broke, infact the opposite, but my heart was in my gut waiting for it to break. it held up the entire day, and well through the end of summer.
kids are bummed because its getting cold here now, and its away until next summer, but it will give us something to look forward to.

1 out of 5 stars Poorly manufactured   September 28, 2009

Too bad this water slide is so poorly manufactured because it would be a blast for the kids! The material it is made from is not durable and it leaks profusely from the poorly stitched seams. I returned the first one thinking maybe it was just a bad lot, but the replacement was just as bad. Thank goodness for the great customer service at Amazon. They returned my money after I returned the second one. I will use the refund and find one of better quality.

2 out of 5 stars ONE TIME USE   September 25, 2009
Chris Bernier (St Augustine, FL USA)
I used this one time for a 4 year old birthday party (only 5 kids in all). I followed all directions for clean up and storage, but the next weekend when my son wanted to go on it, the slide could not hold his weight (33 lbs). When I called the service number, they said it worked the first time so there is nothing they would do. Awesome slide, but not worth $ for one time use.
