Great fun!!! August 23, 2010 Peggy Rec'd the item quickly and in excellent condition. My son loves it. He actually didn't realize it was his at his birthday party, lol. He looked at it like I wonder who's getting that. He rode it and he rode and he rode it somemore. I personally thought it would be a little bigger but it is perfect for my 3 year old for a few years to come.
Awesome Quad!!! August 17, 2010 Robert M. Ruzanski I did a lot of research on all the power wheel quads available before purchasing one for my 2 year old son. I'm a Harley mechanic so you can imagine how pickey I am!!! This quad is easy enough for him to use at the age of 2, and big enough for him to use for many years to come!!! You can set the speed on it at 2mph or a max speed of 5mph. When the speed is set at 5mph it is controlled by a foot pedal and twist throttle together, which is a good learning tool if you plan on getting your child a motorcycle later on in life. When the speed is set a 2mph it is controlled by a foot pedal, which is easy to use for all age groups of children. This quad goes great in the yard and in the dirt!! A helmet is not necessary, but a good idea to get your child use to wearing one for later in life. A simple bicycle helmet will do if you don't want to spend the money on a motorcycle helmet. I bought my son a motorcycle helmet and I can't get the kid to take it off!!! The quad does need to be assembled when purchased, for me it seemed very easy, it does come with all the tools required for assembly, but some good wrenches will make assembly a little easier!!!! For people that don't know much about the batteries, this one has a 12volt battery. Follow the charging instructions to the T if you want the battery to last, short time quick charging will shorten the battery life, and they are not that cheap to replace!!! This quad is awesome!!!!! I'm sure it will be pasted down to our next child when we decide to have one!!!!!!
Excellent Power Wheels August 16, 2010 2500hd Purchased this for my son's 2nd birthday, and he loves it. From the minute he sat on it he was able to drive it everywhere. Navigating it with the handlebars is very easy. The tires on this thing will go just about everywhere. I have two other powerwheels and whenever my son or daughter is on this I seem to spend more time pushing them because the tires don't have very good traction. Not a problem with this unit. Definitely a must have.
my son LOVES this August 10, 2010 Melis My son got this from us for his 4th birthday!!! He loves it. It is easy for him to operate...though he has the John Deere Tractor ride on -so he is so used to ride ons
Power Wheels Kawasaki KFX July 22, 2010 Amy Offutt (Brownsville, OR) We got this for our sons third Birthday. He loves it. We have railroad ties between the yard and the gravel driveway, he hops the railroad tie and goes through the gravel. We have not had him on any hills to know how it does up hill. He has no problem in the grass. This power wheels does not spin out on the grass like his older sisters bug. Great investment, it took him a few minutes to figure out stopping. you just let off the gas peddle to stop, push it to go, then if you have not enabled the high speed setting you use the twist throttle to go faster. when he would go to get off he'd step on the peddle and it would go. It didn't take him long though to get that all figured out. We've only had it two weeks and he's a pro.
