On the whole,globe is exactly as described and colors are lovely. Only criticism I have is that many of the boundaries(borders,rivers,etc.) are not adequately pronounced.

very nice globe ,a little more than i wanted to spend but well worth it,it is just a great addition to the kids room,plus the most importent thing is ,they are learning about other parts of the world we live in,an educational item that kids have fun looking up other parts of the world,it is like fun homework in geography,beets playing all those computer games.

I requested a gift suggestion for two of my grandchildren ... a boy 7 and a girl 9. This globe was the one they chose. It is beautiful and well-constructed. They were very pleased to receive it.
